By accessing or using Ember ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including companies posting roles and candidates taking interviews.
Ember provides an AI-powered interview platform that enables companies to conduct automated voice interviews with candidates, generate scored evaluation reports, and manage hiring pipelines. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyse candidate responses and produce assessment data.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You may not use another person's account without their permission.
You agree not to use the Service to discriminate against candidates on the basis of protected characteristics, to conduct interviews under false pretences, to misrepresent AI-generated scores as human assessments, to attempt to circumvent or reverse-engineer the AI system, or to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Candidates taking interviews through Ember have the right to know they are being interviewed by an AI system. Companies using Ember are responsible for informing candidates of this and obtaining appropriate consent. Ember provides a consent mechanism; companies must not disable or circumvent it.
Ember's scoring and evaluation outputs are generated by artificial intelligence and are intended as one input among many in hiring decisions. They should not be used as the sole basis for employment decisions. Ember makes no guarantee of accuracy and accepts no liability for hiring outcomes based on AI assessments.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Interview recordings, transcripts, and scores are stored securely and processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws including GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ember shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
